The E2 CBR Interface Module is a members of the APX Universal Interface Module range. The E2 CBR Module enables connection to a non ATM service, for example a Radio. The E2 CBR module operates at the ITU-T Standard data rate of 8.448Mbps and is standards compliant. The E2 CBR Module can provide multiple, unstructured interface ports. This CBR Module is "Hot Swappable" to ease maintenance with replacement modules recovering immediately without further configuration. Each E2CBR module performs adaptation of the incoming bit stream using AAL.1 to segment it into ATM cells. At the far end, the bit stream in reassembled, again using AAL.1. End to end timing is maintained through the use of adaptive clocking and jitter attenuation. Management and configuration of the CBR Module is achieved via the simple menu driven user interface and may be monitored using SNMP Traps. The E2 CBR Module comes with Dual E2 ports, presented as G.703 Coax. | | | E2, 8.448M | | BNC, G703, HDB3 | | 2 | | Unstructured | | Adaptive | | G.823 | | LOS, AIS, TXUR | | | | ITU I.363 AAL.1 | | 22468 | | 9.53M | | | | ITU I.363 AAL.1 MIB 2 RFC1213, RFC1215 EN60950, EN55022, EN50082 | | 0-40C, 0-95% RH Non Condensing 86-106KPa |

The E1 CBR Interface Module is a members of the APX Universal Interface Module range. The E1 CBR Module enables connection to a non ATM service, for example a PBX. The E1 CBR module operates at the ITU-T Standard data rate of 2.048Mbps and is standards compliant. The E1 CBR Module can provide multiple, unstructured interface ports. This CBR Module is "Hot Swappable" to ease maintenance with replacement modules recovering immediately without further configuration. Each E1CBR module performs adaptation of the incoming bit stream using AAL.1 to segment it into ATM cells. At the far end, the bit stream in reassembled, again using AAL.1. End to end timing is maintained through the use of adaptive clocking and jitter attenuation. Management and configuration of the CBR Module is achieved via the simple menu driven user interface and may be monitored using SNMP Traps. | | - 6RU 19" Wide - Non Rack Mountable
| - Optional Redundant Power Supply
| | The AP8000 can be used to aggregate multiple satellite services, at high data rates across a variety of infrastructures. Within Military Satcoms it provides a means of multiplexing up to 8 Remote Satellite Terminal Links into a single back-haul or reach-back link. Added to this is the fact that it can run 7 x EIA530 Crypto End to End Links at a Maximum 20Mbps per link. | | The AP8000 is typically used for high speed satellite link back-haul, where there is a requirement to support 7-8 satellite services over a Link. This was added to the Access Processor range primarily as a means of fanning out lower speed services from a E3, DS-3 or OC-3 Link. As with any of the APSAT Platform it supports all the AP Modules. The AP8000 can provide a variety of different interfaces such as E1 (Voice), 10/100BaseT (E-mail/Internet), ASI (Video) and EIA530 (Crpyto) and support these across all the different Satellite Modems. This is particularly useful for Welfare Communications over Satellite. | | The added feature of the AP8000 is that it can be fitted with or without an In Band Management Module. Without the Module you have 9 slots available to use. The name of this product is the AP8000L. With the Redundant Power Supply fitted this would be the AP8000LR. The AP8000 with In-Band Management is simply the AP8000. With a Redundant Power Supply it's the AP8000R. | |
