The APX EIA-530 Circuit Emulation Module is a member of the APX Universal Interface Module range. The module provides the user with the capability to emulate a low speed, less than 10Mbps, circuit over an ATM connection using unstructured AAL.1 adaptation. The module operates transparently to payload data. The EIA-530 Module terminates a single ATM PVC and propagates clock information through the use of an adaptive clock mechanism. The EIA-530 Module provides a DCE interface for direct connection to a Router generating both the Transmit and Receive clocks. For connection to another DCE, for example a satellite modem, a cross-over cable is required. The Master Transmit clock is user configurable between 1Kbit/s and 10Mbit/s in 1 bit per second steps. To support Asymmetric operation the receive clock is also configurable between 1K and 10Mbit/s. the receive clock will adapt to within 100ppm of the nominal clock selection. Management and configuration of the EIA-530 Module is achieved via the simple menu driven user interface and may be monitored using SNMP Traps. | | 20Mbit/s (Max) | | 25 Way D-Type, Female | | Unstructured | | Adaptive | | LOS, TXUR | | (Input) | | (Input) | | (Output) | | (Output) | | (Output) | | (Input) | | (Output) | | AAL.1 | | 500us (10M) | | ITU I.361 AAL.1 EN60950, EN55022, EN50082 | | 0-40C, 0-95% RH Non condensing 86-106Kpa |
