Operating at speeds up to 2.048Mbps, the KIV-7HSA is typically presented on a standard EIA530 and as such we have a range of products we can connect this to. Typically this is either to connect the KIV-7HSA to:
CONNECTING THE KIV-7HSA TO E1 EQUIPMENT This utilises the Metrodata DC2000. The DC2000 enables the connection of an E1 G.703 2 Mbps leased line to DTE equipment such as a KIV-7HSA presenting an EIA-530 interface. Data is carried on the E1 line as unstructured payload.
CHECK OUT THE DC2000 DATASHEET IN HTML CONNECTING THE KIV-7HSA TO ATM EQUIPMENT With the Metrodata APSAT Platform it is possible to interface EIA530 Crypto to 20Mbps. Its also possible to connect an ATM SWitch to the AP3000 and then utilise the AP cellbearing EIA530 Module to transport ATM cells over the KIV-7HSA. This is typically used in Satellite Applications. The AP3000 also supports Circuit Emulation of EIA530 over ATM, and can provide the most flexible EIA530 interface of any ATM device. We have supported 8Kbps to 20Mbps since 2002 and further more we have also supported 1bps increments since this time which is the best in the world as far as we know (if you know better then let us know). This interface also supports Asymmetric, Symmetric and Simplex data rates.
CHECK OUT THE EIA530 UNI MODULE CHECK OUT THE EIA530 CE MODULE CONNECTING THE KIV-7HSA TO FIBER Metrodata have developed the HSSI CE DSU as a means of remoting Satellite Terminals for UAV Systems. This device supports HSSI Circuit Emulation and EIA530 Circuit Emulation over Fiber. It also supports Auto Clock Rate Adjust in case you have a frequency hopping satellite terminal and need to clock synchronise quickly. It supports up to 20Mbps on EIA530 and easily supports the maximum bitrate of the KIV-7HSA.
